Hand Beaded Teardrop Pendant Pearl Necklace

Description

I designed this hand beaded teardrop pendant using a faux pearl charm on silver plated base, repurposed from a vintage earring. I’ve added freshwater pearls, rhinestones, seashells, antique white glass beads, as well as various glass seed and bugle beads. I embroidered them onto a grey felt background. On the back, I added a piece of genuine leather and then I waxed and burnished the edges, and added a silver bail.

For the length of the necklace, I used silver color glass seed beads and freshwater pearls on jewelers beading wire. The lower part of the necklace has 6 seashell beads, and 6 round vintage glass beads, as well as two large cultured pearls. The spacer beads are silver color, and the closure is a stainless steel lobster claw clasp.

The necklace is 56.5cm long, and the pendant is 7.3cm tall and 4cm wide.
